Audio Production

For consulting you as a producer from a distance i charge 50,- euros per hour. In most occassions 1-2 hours per track is more than enough to steer the production in the right direction.

If you are present to produce at the Hara-Goe studio, the price is 40,- euros per hour (or 280,- euros per day*, including me or my assistant as a recording engineer). Only “active” hours** are charged and i am always willing to discuss alternatives if your budget is tight for real (i have been there). To give you an estimate about final costs, for accommodation in a caravan or comfy bell tent and food (vegetarian with vegan option, three meals a day, mostly local and organic) the charge is another 35 to 55,- euros per person per day (depending on caravan sharing and food preferences).

* A “per day” booking makes sense if you want to use the space all day (or night…), for example if you are a band rehearsing between recording sessions. I will be by your side as a producer/engineer as much as needed. If you are coming for a specific task, for example recording vocals for a song, a “per hour” booking makes more sense.

** From the time the space is used and i am present to assist you, i am counting “active” hours until we call it a day. Breaks are excluded.

For the time being, payment is only possible via bank transfer to my account.

If you need an invoice this will be handled over our collective legal form, Stagones Social cooperative. If you have a business tax number (as a musician, label etc) VAT is exluded from the invoice within the EU. In all other cases it will be added on top of the service (currently 24%).

Of course you could also consider donating the amount to our project. I am also interested in other methods of exchange (studio gear, musical instruments, whatever) and the use of alternative currencies (the ethical ones…)
